Well, the 40 or 45 must go... hopefully the 40. ;)
67 fj40 with a tree on the tree. Super reliable inline six (f). New soft top Pakistan bows and new khaki vinyl OEM type Pakistan top. Rhino Pto winch... it works, but never tried it. Needs cable. Original front and rear data that are in great shape. Aftermarket roll bar that looks great. Newer starter... newer clutch. That's all I've done to it in four years I've owned it. Will need a rear lip. 150 bucks from awl tech. The corner of the rockets need small patching too. The frame is clean and in great shape, so is the rest of the panels and doors. I've driven the truck 70 mph to north Carolina, a few events with upstate in south Carolina, a several long trips in GA... upstate members and GA cruiser members can vouch for its condition.
Things it needs, aside from the two rusty areas... the leaf springs are not original. I would find a stock set and buy those. PO welded f250 shock towers on. That's why the shackles are flipped out. A few small things... my horn stopped working... the rear left brake light comes and goes.... other small things.

Bottom line the truck is very original, solid, and sooo reliable. It has the fst look and looks pretty damn good imo. Check out the pics. Come by and give it a spin! We'll get her out on 20 and I'll let you decide. Pics provided below. Thanks.

Welcome to Kodak Gallery!

Can I pick your brain about the front shackles? They seem to be inward angled. Did you have the springs re-arched or are they not the right length? Thanks and love the top on this rig.

Thanks... I love the top too... as stated in the ad, a PO welded on f250 shock towers and it does appear that they tried to arch the leaf springs to make it all work? This caused the shackles to flip out. It definitely causes a bouncey ride. some OEM springs would correct everything.

Bump for a 40 and a 45

I have seen both vehicles and they are pretty solid and original.

Daniel, I can't believe you are putting the 45 on the block. I wish I had the time, space, and $$ to play with that thing. That thing would be so sweet with a diesel conversion !!

That 45 is also solid. Have you done anything to it since I saw it last fall ??

Are you asking $6900 for each one or was that for both ?? If so, I'll be right over.....

Good luck with your sale.....

Ha! It is tough times.... but not that tough. that's each. Which ever sells first, I'll keep the other. I cannot keep up with four.... two and I'm good. Thanks for the feedback and come by anytime! Hope all is well!
Daniel

TTT. Anyone in the SE looking for a 40 with a new Paki top?

willing to drive it to a serious inquiry. This thing is that reliable. I've driven it 65-70mpg to events, wheeled it all day, and drove it home never with issues.

Sale pending... ;)

Ha! Look who's back on mud! Yeah, it is going to rain hard from about 6am to noon-ish. Hopefully, you can come around 1700.

Sssssold!

Congrats on the sale...now you can keep the 45 right ??!!!

awl tech

Nice truck. Anyone have any more info on 'awl tech' for the 'rear lip'. I'm assuming thats the rear sill. Thanks

Yes. That is his name here on mud, look him up. He fabs several metal bits and components himself at very reasonable prices. His work is amazing.
