I know that has been beat to death, but I have done a ton of searching and I am having a hard time finding the answer to this specific question: can I replace the rear oem shocks on my 2006 GX470 with the Bilstein B6 4600 (33-329093) as a direct drop-in replacement, if I am keeping the air bags and stock ride height? Is anyone here running their GX this way, 4600's with stock height air bags?

The reason I ask is that the Bilstein product page specifically states that coil conversion is required to use this shock on the GX. I am replacing the fronts with the 4600's and would like to do the same in the rear, if possible.

Thanks!

Coil conversion is not required. In my case I run the Bilstein 5100 for more than 2 years with OEM bags before adding coil conversion. No issues at all. Should be the same with 4600's.
