Got another factory 16 x 8 toyota steel wheel that gets a new tyre today.

it had a lot of surface rust which has now been cleaned up, primed and repainted using hardware store aerosol 'aluminium' colour rust-prevantative paint that's a damn close match to the factory 'silver' used by Toyota on the steel rims as new.

This is the wheel with the resto done ready to have the old tyre removed and a new iLink one fitted

This is how it looked pre-resto with all the surface rust.

I've used the same paint to do a less intensive outside surface restore on some of the other factory toyota steel rims I already had that were previously used on my box trailer but are now on my 80.

The vehile is not a bling-box so doesn't need to look pretty - just neat and functional.
