My wife and I went down to Slade with Ohio River Four Wheelers again. I beat on the truck a little more than usual. Ended up getting into enough mud that it came into the rear from the tailgate seals. Then the truck started to overheat because the radiator was caked in mud. Then the discharge warning lamp came on. We decided to play it safe and bail about mid-day. Got about 45 min out of Slade on the way home and the truck dead stopped. Had AAA tow us 115 miles home. Tested the alternator today and it is bad.
