Does anyone have a procedure documented on how I can bench test a circuit opening relay from by FJ62?

I’m trying to rule out the relay as my issue with my starting issue. Lately my 62 has been harder to start. Sometimes it fires right up, but other times I have to crank it for 15-20 seconds to get it running. It runs perfect once it’s running, no issues there. I used the paper clip to jump the fp and B+ and it seems like the car starts faster. Makes me wonder if the circuit opening relay is causing an intermittent start issue. Thanks for any help you can provide on how to test the relay. Thanks!

Anyone?

Also, is it safe to leave the jumper wire in place between the fp and b+ terminals for an extended period of time (a few days) to fully confirm this fixes the slow to start issue?

I assume you are bypassing Yel-Red to Red-Grn? if the jumper is around the same wire gauge, probably fine
