The 4wd Association of BC is planning a trail clean up of the Chute Lake area. We want to clean up any trash that can be found up Gillard FSR, the old Chute Lake road (Lebanon trail), Elanor & Naramata Lakes and all the trails in between.

The goals are to clean up trash that doesn't belong in the backcountry and to establish a presence in the area that shows 4wheelers are responsible, legitimate users of the area's trails.

Meet time is May 9th at 9:00am @ the bottom of Gillard FSR.

There will be coffee and a meet and greet there - then trail runs to search for trash (and have fun wheeling

) - then compile the trash at one site where we will offer hot dogs, drinks and such. All free BTW.

The Regional District is supporting this clean up by supplying gear and hauling our findings to the dump.

I hope to see lots of you out there!
Thanks

This is great public relations and hope we have a big turn out. I will be there.
Done dozens of clean-ups on Vancouver Island - nearly filled 2 40 yard bins back when dump fees were raised by the Regional District.
