1994 FZJ80 For sale $3000 OBO 238,xxxmiles vehicle only
I am selling my vehicle because I no longer can afford the up keep. The vehicle needs a new transmission. When I was driving home from work last week on the highway the tranny overheated. About a year ago my radiator cracked right into the atv fluid line and flooded the tranny, I replaced the lines and replaced the fluid by exchanging the fluids. Running new fluid through while the old fluid was being pumped out. I also dropped the pan and cleaned everything. And in the last year I also drained the tranny and replaced the fluid 3 times to make sure everything was out; Unfortunately, there was sludge build up that made it's way to the tranny filter and clogged it causing the tranny to over heat.
I went to two mechanics that told me I needed to replace the tranny. Richmond hill transmission quoted me $800 for labor etc. to put one in. I found one at cruiseryard.com for $800, tested. I wish I had the money to do it but it's tight right now and my loss is your gain.
Work I did:
Ome heavy 3" springs, shocks, power steering shock. 7k miles
New radiator and hoses 3k miles
A few hoses and seals, oil pump gasket, seal behind the harmonic balancer, seal in the distributor , the distributor rotor, replaced minor seals in the ac when I bought a used compressor, compressor stopped working recently.
All belts replaced 3k miles ago.
Battery and marine grade battery cables(bought from ih8mud member.)
New grill, windshield, new front window motors,
Fluids no more than 3k miles on it. Motor oil and filter replaced 100 miles ago.
Brake pads and one rotor replaced, new brake fluid 200 miles ago.
The vehicle runs great, starts up right away. It needs a few minor things as well which is always normal. I have been trying to find the culprit causing my dashboard lights to flicker which causes nothing but the cruise control to disengage.
