My FJ was purchased in Bogota Colombia and fully restored in June 2005. Nearly flawless.....! Always 100% Garage kept, only driven in snow once...which was fun..
I have all records of all work and complete listing of all parts replaced......too many to list. Non original changes that were made were as follows: Power steering, bucket seats, roll bar (Attached to frame not chassis), Brush guard with lights.
Three pics attached...but if interested shoot me your e-mail and I'll send you my "yahoo photos" link with the entire process.

Is it left or right side drive? What is the drivetrain set-up (2F, 4 spd, etc. or is it diesel)?

I've never seen turn signals like that - nice truck...Good luck...

Its normal LH side drive.... they drive on the correct side down in South America..haha... 2F...4 speed....gas..no different than USA modles...other than a few import differences...i.e....no heat or AC....but I installed an OEM heater...needed t in Denver...

The turn signals were moved to the hood...I think in 1981..... The old style tended to work themselves loose...as I've heard on this site. So I decided to install this upgrade..

Thats cool Where did you get those turn signals from. i would like to explore using them. they are located so much better. Nice truck-Bump

They are 70 series turn signal assemblies.

They were not installed by Toyota onto a 40 series at any time.
