Here's an initial contribution by another Photochopper, provided the same directives from here. Something to ponder.
Nick, buddy that has the previously posted Photochop skills on mine, said wife graduated yesterday, has a newborn, and was at Jambo last weekend, so he'll get...
Got it.
Photochop request submitted, but if you had a pic of a 60 that'd prove beneficial to your determination, I'd forward to save time.
I have all kinds of 60 porn, but if you've one to work with....
Edited: Should I feel guilty about turning my head to look at the paint scheme on the...
I really like the flames. Hahaha
If you can be descriptive and have pics of what you want chopped, will ask my buddy, if you want, repayment for the chips.
I get that here, a lot.
Irony is, out of four, since the FJC nor the Lexus' are considered "true" Land Cruisers here, I still don't own one. Hahahaha.
Questions
Would a 1", or smaller, roller be able to do the small contours?
Where the edge between two colors would be, is a clean line...
He's an awesome artist and architect.
Some of his finer work.
Haha.
I hear you on the color thing. I hate it.
It's easy to determine the "best" of a mechanically functioning build component, because it has a quantitive value associated with.
Color, not so much. After a year, I still...
Thanks for offering up.
Hoping to get enough white to do just the unseen portion of the roof and hopefully enough left to jack around with coloration. Will request chips when ordering, but if it's not dead on, then I may sway back to white only.
You order yours yet?
If I had the grey interior, I'd be all over it.
I still like the first, too,
But I'm worse than a woman, plus, if I'm going to do the first, want it to be a gnats ass match to the tan interior.
As close to this color as PhotoChop would get.?.?.
Buddy did the chop. If I could do, I would, but can barely ScribbleLite, only with assistance of twelve year old.
The first the preference, but after listening to reason, going all white using Monsterliner's stock white, the yhinking bring it'll be easier to match when body panel work is necessitated.
So, on to determining the specific quantities of primer and liner for the same area as this pic shows on...
This is my fu.
That I submitted to DumpintheGutter and he works his magic to create
After all that, considering keeping it simple with MonsterLiner's white, since touch up, possible in the form of sheet metal replacement, will be normal.
Thanks for pics.
Requesting a Photochop and hope to determine from there.
The handles have been, and remain being the biggest PITA if this entire process, so hopefully seeing a representation of a finished product may inspire.
Any suggestions of any way to line the door handles without removing?
No, I'm not lazy, but the interiors of the doors are all already done and it'd take an eternity to remove and replace.
gregnash,
Thanks again for going to the trouble to send color chip. Received today.
Would be willing to mail to whomever I promised Thursday, but can't find the post discussing.
I'm not trying to be anal, but don't think this tint will work for mine, considering the goal is to leave door...
Got it.
Waiting on color chip to make sure it's not going to clash.
Hopefully will be able to get help to do, since I hate/suck at any and all forms of painting that aren't matte black from a rattle can.
Guess next question will be how much product to do sides, as described and roof of an 80.
Thanks for the info.
White was always a concern, but based on remarks made by a local liner regarding necessary top coat to prevent yellowing.
If it holds up, I'm sold.
Have only seen a locals spray job with another product and it turned out relatively smooth, which is desired.
Not...
