According to the EPC the longer length springs H=485 to H=545 are usually found on GCC VX models with AHC suspension, 3rd row seats, dual spare and auxiliary tank.
I'm almost certain that those orange lenses for quads are painted over. The only country that I'm aware of that requires an orange markers on the front corners of the vehicle is USA. And since the quad headlights were never introduced in the USA market therefore the orange corner lens should not...
I been very pleased with my Toyo open country AT3 for 3 years and 20k. They are a more conservative type of AT so they have pretty good road manners. That’s why are now factory fitted on the TNGA-F suv.
I had the honor to talk to Doug at ARB about this. He told me they made a change on those shocks to address a concern some customers may have had with the valving based on how they had their vehicle set up, he didn't elaborate further.
I have the older PN installed on my 80 and I suspect that...
Not sure if you guys have notices there was a PN change for the BP51 front shocks for the 80 Series last year.
Standard length went from BP51 60012 to 60043
Extended length went from BP51 60014 to 60044
I wonder what was changed as ARB Tech Support has no clue as well.
I work 5 minutes away from F&F though I have no direct experience with them, I have picked up my friend who left there trucks there for repair and they were all very satisfied.
I’m in the same dilemma but instead of chasing the ideal caster angle I want to correct the front diff flange angle and make it parallel to the t case flange like this

if Toyota follows this same rule, when we get...
I'm very interested in the new rack too but spendy!
Looks like they have updated the product list for the 80

I have the same issue with my 80 with the bilstein shocks when heavily loaded. The bilstein just doesn’t have the low speed damping force to control the sprung mass. I switched brand new oem Toyota shocks and It went away. I also have 861 862 springs
While researching replacement oem AHC springs for a friend of mine with a UAE spec 100 series with 1HD-FTE with a rear sub tank (I'm so jealous!) I came across this interesting observation. LHD 100 as a 15mm taller springs on the LH while RHD 100 has same springs on both sides.

I leave my LX470 park for months at a time as well. I start by fillinh up the tank to full, air up the tires to 44 psi, then set the suspension to LOW and disconnect the battery. As a side note, It has been a habit of mine since new to park the vehicle at low, my hypothesis is to get the AHC...
I have my 06 LX470 since new and I can't remember how it rode when new, it may felt exactly the same. It currently has 80K miles and I do noticed the impact harshness on cracked pavement on city streets and freeway expansion joints. But I feel that is not as bad as many people suggest. I have...
I have been using Mobile DTE for a few years now with no problems.

I have been to death valley a few times and I really enjoyed it.
Since we don't camp and we want to save on hotel cost. I usually stay the first night at Beatty then head south to Rhyolite ghost town then Titus canyon.
Then pretty much the rest open to what you guys feel like doing. Maybe go...
