If you happen to know: FJ60 rear axle BRAKE BACKING PLATE semi float axle.
Right in the middle of installing a new brake backing plate & will look it up if necessary BUT if you happen to know it would be great, trying to wrap this up today. And a big thanks to @cruisermatt for getting it in...
I tagged This question on to an old thread but did not get a response, so here is a separate thread.
’86 fj60 driver side (US Left rear) rear axle with semi float C Clip axle shaft that also has an ARB locker.

Don’t really need new, but have posted in classifieds & so far nothing. Anyone know of a source? New or used.
Thanks.
Want Left rear BRAKE BACKING PLATE for ‘85 fj60 semi float axle.
Mine has a damaged part which has caused total brake failure 2 times now & I really need to remedy this on my Daily Driver.
All I really need is the cap, mine is broken. So if you only have the cap in good shape, I will buy it. If I need to buy the bottle AND the cap, no problem, I will. Thanks.
If necessary (not certain yet) can some one go to Tire Rack warehouse in Reno, (in Reno is all the ‘location’ know right now) and pick up & hold six 33 inch tires for several hours. I will pick them up later in the day. If so please PM me etc.

BACKGROUND: ‘86 FJ60 with 3.70 gears. Me & a friend just completed a self install of ARB rear locker this weekend. Went for a 5 mile 60 mph drive and the rear diff housing seems to be too warm/hot to the touch...but really I have no info to say one way or the other. IR gun has temp @...
My friends wife wants to surprise her husband & asked if I would help find a new driver seat for their 2007 FJC.
I‘ve placed a add in the MUD classifieds and will call our dealer today. But our one Toyota dealer is a real pain regarding looking up parts and we live in the middle of nowhere...
86 FJ60 with H-41 and split t case.
Going to drop them both, and seal them up to stop the leaks. Don’t ‘plan’ on a rebuild or messing with the pre load. We shall see tho.
I’ve done a fair amount of ‘Search’ on this and have found some good info but I hoping there is a good thread or two...
After looking, my friend ‘thinks’ these KM3’s are about 32.5. His 2007 FJC has a 2.5 lift in front. As we know KM3’s are notoriously undersized for their listed numbers.
If you have actual experience with KM3’s in 285/70/17 on a FJC we would appreciate your input.
Have an old School 2005 model Jensen 3000 Radio with CD. Radio works but the CD won’t accept nor reject CDs any longer. It has gotten worse over the last several months, sometimes working and sometimes not working. When it was working it skips, stops etc. Now it won’t work at all.
Have the...
$180 shipped. I will pad it well and double box it for you.
Purchased my 40 new in ‘75. All original and tested good. Removed this in late 70’s and put it on the shelf. Forgot I had it, found it when rearranging my stash. Pics taken sitting on the hood of same 40. I will never use it...
Yellow or blue 31’s, same size. Have you done it and does it fit w/o major modification? 60 stock battery location.
According to Optima’s numbers, I ‘think’ it will fit...but if so, it will be tight, tight, tight. Both length & height.
Starting price for these are expensive so I’d like to...
Do they go both ways🤔
Going thru my stash and found a brand new OEM 62 door mirror. It is definitely good for the driver side and ‘appears’ that I should be able to move the glass all the way around to make it work for the passenger side.
But it’s brand new and the movement is very stiff. I...
If anyone can locate this part # it will be a big help. This is for the diff cover stud.
My Toyota parts guy can’t come up with this part so I’m trying to get the part # to give him. I’ve found the part on the fiche but can’t come up with the part #.
Thanks.

Need to know which VDO temp sending unit to buy for my 250* VDO gauge.
Have the gauge but not the proper sending unit. I've found out that using the stock sender gives false readings with the VDO gauge.
