    Front bumper TJM vs ARB

Fair enough, Either way, I think they both look pretty good.

    Front bumper TJM vs ARB

I think the TJM looks better, but that's only my opinion. I have had now both the ARB Sahara bar and now the TJM and the quality is pretty much the same however the lights that they have on the Sahara bar (Fog lights) are not very good and you can't even see if they are on, however the TJM bar...

    100 Series vs Nissan Patrol

I really have no idea how you ever had that conclusion but I remember the trouble you caused on that forum from memory and was banned by me for your efforts and you are not going to intimidate me into another one of your petty squabbles. This is a tech thread, kindly respect the title thanks...

    100 Series vs Nissan Patrol

I have no idea what the heck you are on about, but 4 years ago when I purchased my Ti Patrol in my humble opinion the Patrol "Was" a better vehicle. I stand by what I have always written. Things are different now with IFS and the V8 engine hence why my decision to buy a Landcruiser was...

fuel gage reading zero when full???

I had my sender unit on my sub tank replaced during my first service when I bought my LC about 6 months ago. Speaking to many other LC owners it seems to be a common problem and Toyota are aware of the failures. To have the sender replaced it takes a few hours because the fuel tank needs...

    Steel wheels? (lotsa questions)

The ones in the picture on the Landcruiser are called split rims. The outer circle actually split to remove the tyre.

    Steel wheels? (lotsa questions)

That's funny, I gave mine away when I picked my new LC up and didn't want the steel wheels....I even had trouble doing that, no-one wanted them.

    Show us your wheels!

The black bumperettes are removable by just 2 Allen key nuts, and they were removed to have the bumper painted. It has been done in 2Pac paint, though it is a little more expensive to have done, it has really shown it's strength over the past few months, and it holds a shine extremely well...

Land Cruiser Duel Cab Tray Back?

Very interesting the picture of the first one, (Black Dual cab) why anyone would go to such expence for such a little area of gain...... There would be more room in a roof pod than in the back of that....

Land Cruiser Duel Cab Tray Back?

Here ya go Cruiser Conversions there are a number of shops here in Oz doing this conversion. They are quite popular. A ball park figure here for a complete conversion is about $18k AU Here's my favorite.

Wallowing Pig needs new shocks, so how about entire new suspension upgrade?

I have recently upgraded my suspension and fitted TJM Series 2000 and find it excellent. I purchased my Landcruiser new and drove it around for a week before realising the suspension could use an upgrade. I was a little concerned about transforming the comfortable relatively soft ride to...

So I'm gonna buy some bumpers....

I also have a T3 TJM Classique on my 2005 LC in color coded steel and I think it looks terrific. I was told that a 10,000lb warn winch would have no problem fitting in there, but as I have no intentions at this stage in fitting a winch, I don't think I listened carefully enough, so I may be...

    Mounting a cb radio

I think the best way is to use a remote head as in this model as seen here They are probably the most popular down here, and you can virtually mount it anywhere you like.

    Snorkles

Come on guy's this is an interesting thread, with a lot of useful information within, lets not turn it into a personal attack on each other....

    Snorkles

Yeah, good point, though the snorkel is absolutely invisible from the driver, and I tend to like that slight gurgling sound which the snorkel gives to that V8 when the window is down .....
