Got the same issue, wish I knew how to fix it, besides putting the stock radio back in( which I don't have)
Mine was a light buzz, but I recently disconnected the battery and reconnected it and now the buzzing is really bad.... Total bummer, need to fix this somehow!!!
Nice...thanks,
I'm seriously thinking of ditching the JK/trailer and setting up my 100 with a rtt and all the goodies.
I'm telling my buddy that's what he needs, now I think that's really what I want as well !!
Lets start with their web site, should it work? Been trying to check them out, can only find some prelimary posts here and there....is this a real option or someone's garage invention?
I'm trying to convince a friend this is the route to go for him...but I got to wondering it the 100 was too tall for a RTT and it might be top heavy? My RTT is on a trailer I tow behind the JK
Thanks for the pics
After listening to all this, my 100 rides like a 4 wheel drive Cadillac, no shake shimmies, bumps clunks, I'll have to think long an hard before I mess with it.. Guess ill let the JK do its thing and the LC do what it does best...
Tom, come down to sd and ill take you over the sd trux and ill...
Tom
Just moved over here and see your build... Very Nice, but now I know why you were worried about being top heavy, that's a lot of stuff on the roof to say the least...
Maybe today a off road trailer is not an option, but don't take it off the table they are super nice and it keeps the...
Lava tube cave shot... Boy was I glad I got the ten gallons of extra gas... The ole JK sucked it up, definitely needed it, wouldn't suggest going with out any extra on the truck... Unless you had some little gas miser pick up....
Lots of these long road shots, you never get tired of watching them. I took some cool video but I can't figure how to load more than one pic at a time probably can't get a vid on....lol
I'll go read the directions.... Ha ha
More MR talk
Lava tubes.....stayed there next night. I thought the road was very tame... In fact I never even put in in 4 wheel drive!! No lockers needed, just put it in low at a couple of places... With all the recent rains there was no soft sand, it was all pretty well packed in. Couple...
Mojave Rd Report
Great trip, weather was perfect, no wind (yes hardly a breeze) high 60's. I was prepared for mid 30's at night but my guess was low 40's maybe into high 30's....
We got to needles on Friday at 11am filled the jeep and two 5gal gas cans and proceeded straight to MR. We had...
Well Tom that's a bummer you didn't make it a bit farther, understand though with all the kids and such. Better to be on the cautious side of things if you ever want to go back again with mom and the kids......
thats funny.....thanks. your right getting lost might be have ther fun.
we used to ride around at night in glamis when it was foggy and see how lost we could get... it was pretty fun. as long as you had gas to last you long enough...
looking forward to the trip... i'll post pics next week
Tom check the NOAA site for the ridge rest area, 40% chance of rain Thursday into Friday... Be sure to bring some kind of tarp to put over what ever your sleeping in(unless is the LC).. Bet the wifs going to love that!! Over on the Jk forum there is someone who posted pictures of the road from...
Ha aha Tom... Remember your heading out a day ahead of me... Tell you what, I'll pull you out but you have to get the kids to wash my jeep when were done!! But wait, I remember your going to tippy toe out there first so it likely won't be the LC that's stuck but maybe you...lol
Anyway we...
So that interesting starting point.... Like Tom I was planning on heading all the way to the fort to begin. How many miles do you think you cut out by turning up where you did verses heading out towards the fort? How are the roads marked at the various intersections, rocks, sticks, street signs...
