I had a 93 TLC and now a 05 Sequoia. My wife loves the 05. Plenty of power to pull our 23ft light travel trailer over Mt Hood and great for road trips. Almost 170k miles on it now and only use Mobil 1 with OEM filter.
Installed the MagnaFlow cats with Denso 02 sensors and passed DEQ! The install was pretty simple and took me about 3 hours going slow and a trip to get a 1/2inch extension. Bolts are sized 15mm and 14mm. Use PB or another penetrating oil and let sit for a couple of hours. I would also...
No comments? I guess the Sequoia forum is not as active as the TLC.
I went ahead and purchased the MagnaFlow OEM Cats with Denso 02 sensors. Much better price for these on Amazon and other sites than Napa. MagnaFlow parts feel of high quality as I have installed other exhaust parts. I will...
Any recommendations for long life emissions compliant aftermarket catalytic converters and the OEM for a Toyota Sequoia?
Anyone have feedback on the Napa Ultra Direct Fit cats?
Beloved 95 TLC for sale. After 13 years my wife chose a newer Sequoia so it is time for the green machine to find a new home. Our TLC was my wife's daily driver and road trip vehicle. This TLC will start right up and runs very smooth.
198k miles and ready for more
Has third row seats.

I also have the MG starter installed by a local Landcruiser shop. Not sure why so many people are down on MG.
My story was my Landcruiser starter was going out something like 2 years ago. I repaired it using this website with Toyota parts to basically do a rebuild of the starter. It worked...
Seeking to purchase a FZJ80 Green Driver Side Mirror at reasonable price. Must be in good working condition - complete assembly. Thanks! I'm in Oregon and willing to pay shipping if needed.
My 95 has been going through about 1 quart a month also. The TLC drives like a champ with 185k on it. I have driven behind it and no noticeable oil burn. I'm not too worried but I'll try the PVC replacement as well.
This is a great write up. My wife was helping me read the instructions and I found later that she left out #9 until I was done.
I suggest two things - remove the battery box as its easy and I hate messing with tough to get to bolts. The other is loosing all the tension screw to make the job...
Replaced my belts a few night back with flash light. Remove the battery box. Replaced belts on other cars and I would rate the TLC very easy. Highly recommend that anyone can do this replacement. Buy Toyota parts only of course - this is why you own a Toyota.
No oem or aftermarket secuirty system is installed on our 95 TLC.
Should the small wire be drawing less than 4 volts? I just dont know the answer to that one. The wire is high gauge so its likely not getting much juice through it however I'm not an expert.
