I'm looking to add a trailer harness to my 96 FZJ 80 because I don't seem to have one. I dropped my spare today just to make sure it wasn't tucked up in there somewhere and took these pictures.
I've read the threads on the Hoppy harness replacement that plugs in behind the passenger side...
Yeah I haven't had the chance to get the multi meter out so I'm just trying to troubleshoot and guess for now. I'm gonna replace all three anyway cause they're really old and don't appear to have been replaced in a while just to prevent further problems down the road.
Sorry for the dumb question but i'm guessing I only need the 50 and 60 amp links and not the 110 main considering that its only the radio and the interior lights that don't have power.
I accidentally shut my seatbelt in my driver side car door last night, so naturally when I got into it today my battery was dead. I wasn't watching really paying that close of attention when the person jumped it, and they reversed the positive and negative connectors on the jump start kit (i...
so here's the problem...
My brakes locked up going about 2 mph on a gravel road today. I have very extreme brake pedal pressure and it takes a lot of effort to push the pedal in all the way. The master cylinder is new as of a year ago and I don't have any brake fluid leaking in the engine bay...
Just got back from the AT. had a great trip. That body you linked in an article was found at our pickup point. We ran into all kinds of rangers on the trail asking us questions about specific hikers. It was kinda creepy.
Also, there is rumor that another body was found floating in the James...
Got it. It runs all the way to the back to power aftermarket subwoofers that the previous owner removed. I knew the right and left audio hookups were there, but never noticed the power tucked away in the left corner.
Alright I'm trying this from my phone, so I may need to redo this from my computer. Anyway I randomly looked in my engine bay and noticed a fuse open on a cord from the battery?
I taped it back up with electrical tape, it's the one going into the truck in the second picture. It comes from the...
Come on guys...this is definitely the way to go

just stick it on the right side of the pulled out ashtray and it rests perfectly. :p
Funny, I just took mine off. It led to some serious sunroof drain issues. The way I park on the downslope prevented leaves and other crap from getting off my roof. They got dammed up against the visor. Needless to say, it all went into my drain tubes. I'd think twice about putting it on.
I'm actually using these things called whoopie slings that I found on the hammock forum. They're made from amsteel cord and are extremely light. Look them up, it was a great, cheap upgrade that cut a lot of weight.
Yea, I've got one on order. It's an OES McCat tarp. I'm backpacking on the AT in a couple of weeks and am only sleeping in a hammock. :) I've changed my suspension away from the ENO slap straps (serious sagging) and spent some serious $$$ on that lightweight tarp. I believe the material you're...
Mine already do this:p...the PO must have done it that way. I guess you learn something new every day. I just assumed that's the way it was supposed to be.
