This was off of a 1966 FJ40 I bought a while back but have no idea what kind it is or if it even belonged in an fj40 originally. Any ideas? Thanks for any wisdom as usual

Haha sorry, I think it's off of a '66 or '67..? (fj40 of course). I am going through all the parts I thought worth keeping and now have laying around. Yeah I can't seem to find how to identify this one.
Ok bad news boys. Could not spin driveshaft on ground in 2wd. We jacked the fj up and disconnected vacuum shift valve and still wont come out of 4wd. Any ideas? Do i need vacuum to disemgage 4wd assuming the valve is bad? Aside from that, all i can see is that the front diff is connected...
I have locking hubs. Uhhg. Umm hmm, i wonder if my hubs are broke and locked in. They spin to 'lock' and 'free' but in supposed 2wd the front diff spins.
Question, can i disconnect the driveshaft for the time being until i try and figure this part deal out or will it spill fluids, etc do you think?
Ignition went to brass spade connector, wire from ammeter and positive battery cable to large middle-top terminal, and created a new connection from small right side terminal to coil "+" (although not sure what that is doing exactly). But it fired up, immediately and enthusiastically!
You guys -
With a complete lack of confidence based on numerous previously failed attempts at this... I went to turn the ignition switch. AND IT FIRED!!!!!!!
Thank you SO MUCH for your generous wisdom and advice! I'm ecstatic. She's running again! Thank you.
