Time for new Shoes! Best tire option for 35's right now?

My Falken AT3W tires have never left me stranded in Baja, Moab, or CO.

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Beautiful! But I have a soft spot for 80s with MAXTRAX ;)

Just used my new Indeflate for the first time

Thanks for the kind words! I agree that while it is faster than the valve-core puller deflators, it's also just so much easier. You can do other things while you're inflating or deflating, and you don't have to kneel down next to the tire.

Sound matting, dynamat or similar, how many QSFT

I'd love to do this to mine. I've heard good things about this product from a friend that just installed it on a RAM. https://soundskinsglobal.com/ I like the idea of putting a large adhesive type piece on the middle of the door, and then using the sound skins.

What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend?

Took the HDJ81 out for a spin this weekend, I've been traveling a lot lately and haven't been driving it as much as I'd like!

    Re-gear. Gear brands??

Go with Nitro. They are independently owned and not a part of some soul sucking distributor like Yukon.

    HDJ81 slow wipers

I have the same issue with my HDJ81, I bought some Griots Garage glass polish to try and smooth out the surface and I'll report back.

How are 35" on a 80 for a expo rig?

Just take a realistic look at what you do on a daily basis, and don't shy from getting professional 4wd training. Lots of keyboard warriors will argue over the need for larger and larger tires, when a good, skilled driver can typically get by with much less. Obviously with all things equal, a...

How are 35" on a 80 for a expo rig?

I think 35s are a good go-to for an off-road focus, though I am really happy with my Falken AT3W 34s (285/75-R17) paired with 4.56 gears. Full disclosure, I'm more of a remote traveller than a crawler. It's beefier than stock, and the truck still drives great.

    80 diesel or gas RHD

I don't know why you would bother importing a RHD gas 80 to the USA, when there are plenty of gas models floating around here...

Does anyone here have a TJM T15 bumper on their Cruiser?

I have a TJM T17 bumper and think it's a good alternative to the stock bumper. I probably wouldn't want to drag it through the rocks, but that's not what I do anyway. It didn't add much weight which is what I was after.

Anyone ever see this kind of Pop top

If it is an HDJ81, it is not from Australia.

    Webasto Heater in swapped 1hdt

While mine is RHD I can attest and say that it is one of my favorite modifications. I do not regret it one bit.

I added the NA spec transmission cooler and kept the integrated radiator cooler as well.

Builds Project Clifford 40" Tires 0" lift

I think other than our HDJ81, Go Fast Campers was the only other company who had an 80 in their booth.

With the Price of US 80's Rising, At What Point Do HDJ80\1's Become a More Viable Choice?

No doubt, they are all quite expensive.
