The back of my seat is loose, bottom is nice an tight. Has anyone run across this? I took the seat out and removed the side covers and back but I dont see anything to tighten.
While trying to diagnose a squeaking pulley I noticed the PS line circled in the picture was riding on the alternator pulley. Causing a nice groove in the PS line(thank goodness for the squeaky alternator idler).
Can you purchase just the hose in question? Id rather not buy the entire assembly...
Mine was caused by the engine harness near the EGR valve. Repaired some bare wires and wrapped everything in a high temp wrap. No more studdering and bucking.
Currently running OME stock height springs with Arb front and 4x4 labs rear bumper. Starting to feel mushy and the rear is squatting a bit. What does Dobinson offer for 1.5-2" lift that can handle some armor and other added accessories?
Thanks in advance
My fzj80 had the exact same symptoms. Loss of coolant, sweet smell from around exhaust. Blackstone oil test was all clear. Turns out there was a rusted hole in my rear heater line. Coolant was dripping on the exhaust giving me the " ominous smell".
Greetings,
Have an 80 and looking to add to the collection. I don't have a budget, it all depends on the rig. Least amount of rust the better! PM me!

Have a 97 with lockers 147k miles. I'm considering selling. Interior is in great shape. Just finished baselining. No oil leaks. Dark green. New rad, waterpump, belts hoses, phh, battery, rebuilt starter, winshield gasket, tie rods, crank seal gasket, plugs, wires. Only rust on the rear bumper...
Replace the contacts in your starter. When my we're going it was causing all sorts of problems, Including the "click". Twice it continued to turn over with the key out of the ignition.
