Hey there! Did you have success using a 100 series shift lock computer box?
I have the same issue... even bought a replacement 80 series one, that was ALSO broken, just in a different way. Now looking at replacing with a new one, but only the 100 series is still being produced.
I looked at the...

I've been looking and see many different part numbers, all starting with 85933 and ending in... 60050 (mine), 60010 (above, @Mikel 80 ), Camry is 60030, etc... has anyone tried a Camry shift lock ecu? It looks identical including the wiring harnesses.
EDIT: Looks like it should work...
I'm still looking for one of these, but in the meantime I've repaired mine successfully. I glued two "Christmas tree" plastic trim plugs in place of the broken tabs, they fit right into the speaker and hold it on well.
I am also after the exact same trim piece. Driver side, second row. Do you guys have a spray paint colour that matches the ivory? I can't fathom paying $57.81 to ship a small piece of plastic via ebay.
I can confirm the steady bearing doesn't work on my 97 lx450. Like previously mentioned the shaft gets larger by a couple mm about half way to the firewall. So I just replaced the OEM boot instead.
That being said, I have a brand new bearing I can't use, if anyone wanted one I could sell it to...
I took a couple days to clean the 100 series belts in soapy water and let dry. Then today when I went to bolt them in I had a slight hiccup - on the 80 series, the seat belt tab on the bottom is bolted through the body into the captured plate on the inside of the fender. It's a solid piece that...
I've determined that the webbing (belt itself) along with the seat buckle and shoulder piece can be moved from the 100 series retractor drum onto the 80 series retractor simply by extending the belt out and sliding the dowel from the centre of the drum. This allows the 100 series belts to be...
Progress update! Brock Smith from Metamorphosis, a local fab genius, made me the brackets out of 3/8 steel and the original donor 100 series bracket pieces. Placement is perfect, and all seat functionality is retained. Bolts up to the original 80 series seat mounting locations.
I don't think you'd lose steering, it may just become easier to turn (prob same as trucks without the VA steering?)
I think every truck I've seen has a small leak/weep at the resi cap. I know mine does, even after I replaced the resi with a brand new one.
I never did check the voltages at the...
Thanks for the info above, that's what I was looking for :)
BTW guys if you're in Canada and not already on the 80 Series in Canada facebook group, you should join! :)

Laclede Alpine Diamond Super Sport. A diagonal pattern which helps from slipping side to side that's also road legal. 👍
They're great, though I've only ever needed them when doing snow recoveries. They do live in the back of the Cruiser from about Oct to April though!
