Ok- so it sounds like what is being suggested is that cause I'm in low my tansmition is not shifting into a low enough gear to give me enough power.

Though lincons may not hold up quite as long as the Miller, they do work well. If it is for your shop, you may want to consider the extra $, but for personal lincons are just fine.
