Your battery is REALLY dead! Hook up the jumper cables and leave the other car running for 10-20 min and then try to start it. Also make sure you have a good pair of jumper cables. I bought a perfectly running saab with just a really dead battery off a lady that had s*** jumper cables for 400...
The best thing to get a real difference in MPG is run real gas and swap the carb out for GM throttle body injection I've gotten as high as 18 (i think if i very in a flatter state and stayed out of the gas i could do 20ish) and very regularly get 15-16 out of my old girl.
So Neixian I was wondering did you do this on a FJ60 or FJ62 and what what module did you use? You said that you used one the china specials on your friends FJ80 and another one of your cars and they have held up? Also did you use the kit on your other car or did you just wire it into the cars...
I found a pair of rear paddles for 125 with rims i think ill give it a try. I'm just kind of worried about the tire being to cold and knocking off a paddle if there was like a stick under the snow since the cold could cause the glue to be brittle.
Hmmm next time it snows a bunch and I'm home ill have to try it out. Have you ever used sand paddles in the snow? I imagine that they would be fun if the snow wasn't to deep and all powder.
Oh I'm planning on it they suck, they rub on the plastics, and they are full of little holes. They barely stay aired up for a day. They were on the quad when I bought it. Do you know if they would be any good in the snow cause they are so wide?
After I got the quad running the search for new plastics was on. I found a great deal on some used ones along with some spare parts on eBay. :bounce: I got the newish plastics on and its looking great! Except for the giant tires on the back! The quad was also missing the ign switch and dash so I...
I picked up this 2001 raptor 660 about a month ago and have been rebuilding it slowly.I got it running after cleaning the carbs, changing the oil and a new battery.:grinpimp: I also had to fiddle with the exhaust because it looks like someone was a little quick on the throttle and busted off the...
I run my 2f tbi at base stock timing for the 2f just the same as a carb setup you just disconnect the timing wire first so the computer doesn't try to compensate for the change in timing.
I am running an inline fuel pump that I mounted to my frame rails and ran a filter before it. It is an aftermarket pump gives me around 13 psi to the tbi. I cant remember what brand it was but there is plenty of sites on this. Here is a good one with picks of a total junk yard build...
I bought a bunner and everything to do the custom chips in my 2f tbi and its a pain in the ass to get right and you have to solder a new carrier to fit the chips that you can use. After spending all that time and effort I ended up just using a 4.3l computer with the origanal prom with my 350...
I cant give you power numbers but my 2f tbi desmoged gets 16.5 on the highway running 65-70 with 31s. It feels like it pulls alot better than before but my carb needed rebuilt and it was fully smoged.
