Live help: Coolant leak at water inlet housing and water pump

Correct. I would put some grease around the o-ring to help installation if you don't, theres a chance you'll roll the o-ring and it'll leak upon start-up.

SOLD Bluffton, South Carolina 2004 Lexus Lx470 Only 62K Miles

If you haven't accepted the Bring a Trailer ad, I would look into Cars and Bids. In august they are offering to list any cars for free and you can have someone come put to take professional photos of your SUV. Landcruisers and LX470s have done well on there lately. Something to think about, you...

    Brakes Pulsing

Either the technician didn’t do a good job of resurfacing them or more than likely he didn’t torque your lug nuts and put too many Uggas uggas on his gun and over torqued them and it warped the rotors.

    Grinding sound from engine

Take off the serp belt and check all the accessories for any play or noise in them, including the idlers. It’s probably a idler or maybe the water pump shaft has lots of play.

    Brakes Pulsation at Slow Speeds!?

Did you spray the rotors with brake clean before putting them on? They come with a film to stop rust and it’s kinda sticky, if you didn’t spray it off, then I could see what you describe happening. I imagine though if you take the wheels off, you may find something missing like a slide pin or...

    Power windows not working

Have you tried doing a relearn on the door switches? You hold down each window switch, then hold up. Sometimes they lose their memory.

06 Cruiser in Portland, is this a reasonable price?

Don’t be afraid to travel to find the right one or maybe one that needs some work, if your comfortable working on it, maybe you can find one for a good price that needs some work.

SOLVED. PART 2...A/C light blinking mystery

I had this same issue when I worked at a dealership, I went through the same procedure you did, tested all the circuits and swapped parts, the lock out sensor was bad.

06 Cruiser in Portland, is this a reasonable price?

Yea thats too high, not good value. It’s your money but I’d make sure there is no rust and make sure those cats are OEM. If you can be patient, the right one will come along.

SOLD Fort Lauderdale, FL: 2004 LX 470

Price seems fair as long as things check out. I paid the same for an 06 with 132K miles. Ive seen some lately with a lot more miles so this seems very fair.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

The heater Ts, upper coolant hose and t-stat housing all had coolant seeps so I replaced the heater ts, upper and lower hoses with oem clamps, replaced the t-stat and o-ring. The T-stat housing had some pitting where it was seeping coolant from so I put some FIPG on it.

How to teach my 100 to idle

i know the TB didn’t just “dirty up” over night, it gets dirty overtime. It takes just a few minutes to look and see if it is. Your right the battery going bad is one thing we should focus on. Let’s keep things simple here. Maybe the battery was old and just getting weak. I just offered a...

How to teach my 100 to idle

Why not just clean your TB and see what happens, it can’t hurt. Not hard to do and yes the computer does lose its memory. Ive seen plenty of Toyotas lose their memory after replacing the battery and also seen a few hardly idle because their TB was really dirty.
