Excellent work. I remember when there was always someone parting out Toyota stuff in the local classified ads- not so common anymore.. Chasing new stuff for old stuff is frustrating as well. It's been fun seeing your progress
I was surprised that I couldn't get windshield trim pieces for my 1989 Toyota truck. It's frustrating how many parts you can't get- it's almost like they want us to just buy new stuff...
Looking good man!

Sold my old Tercel... I wanted it gone, sold it to this guy for 800$. 212k, I hope nobody gives him close to that price...
Nice! I've never been north of Tillamook, I hope to get up there and do some camping-surfing-kayaking... I have never done the clam thing... I know they are out there...
Saweet! That looks like a nice tread pattern, I'm sure it is more open on wider tires but that looks like an aggressive tire but not too far from an A/T
Definitely source a later model nv4500 with the closer gear ratios. 1st is really too low for non towing situations. The gap on the early ones is too big between 3rd and 4th. I don't think it is exceptionally better in the later models. The 6 speeds are definitely nicer ratio-wise. I have a g56...
Cool rig, it's been more places than I have! Africa, Canada, Central America (Guatemala?+) All over the US... If it still has the long range tank then that was swapped in my front yard! Hope it finds a good home!
Dang! Wife told me she was following an fj45 being towed by a Ford explorer West on 238 today. She tried to take a pic but failed... I asked her if she stopped and tried to buy it off of them or even snap a better pic when they pulled over...She says, "Pshhh!" Like, who cares if the groceries...
Hmmm, I am trying to figure out the advantage of this one... I've seen this truck running around grants pass/Murphy... it really needs some dually fenders and the spike lug nuts
