Hope I'm not hijacking but mine will extract about four inches and then stop. It will retract fine. Would replacing the mast seem necessary for this problem?
So the saga is not quite over. Went out to start the truck tonight and I get nothing. :censor: Not even a click, no lights anywhere, nothing. So I try to jump it like last time. This time, I still get nothing after several attempts. I did get a spark and the lights flashed as I connected...
Thanks for the replies. She can't get it to do anything different than "click". I'll troubleshoot the battery and connections as well when I get home.
Checked records from PO, starter replaced at 69k, battery at 65k, its has 110k now.
No, not jumped yet and I sure hope you're right. Thanks.
She did tell me that she started the truck, forgot something in the house, turned it off, went inside, came right back out and the rest is history as they say.
"Malfunction indicator lamp" lights. Electrical problem of some sort? Starter? Alternator? Radio comes on. This is 2nd hand from wife. I'm at work. Any ideas? Thanks very much in advance.
Thanks for the replies. I've admittedtly not had to touch the vehicle in the year I've had it (except oil) which is a testament to its unamatched quality and my mechanical ineptness. I live in a condo with no where to do much work but also do not have most of the required tools to do most...
Took the rig into my local shop for an oil change and investigate why the oil light comes on intermitently...
Anyway, got a call saying that the "drive belts" were "dry and cracking" and he suggested replacement. Says should be done every 50k miles or so. Which belts are those exactly? If...
Good advice on the handbrake. With my wife driving, I've almost had my foot run over a couple times when I hopped out quickly and starting removing my son from his carseat.
Maybe I never noticed it before but my wife sure is pointing it out to me now.
When ever one shifts into park and lets one's foot off the brake, the truck lurches forward close to a foot I'd say.
Huh?
I knew that was coming. :flipoff2:
Actually I was on my way to my man to get he oil changed and a couple other little things checked out...and it was raining! ;p
Plus...I haven't posted in a while and was hoping someone would scream OMG HEAD GASKET@#$#@%@#% or some such.
After driving for about 10 minutes. Oil was last changed about 5K miles ago. Haven't checked the level just yet but have noticed no leaks. Any cause for concern? Thanks.
