I left the center lip and cut the dr/pass side out. You can see the gap where I stopped in the pic and the center lip is actually resting on top of the bumper.
I had to remove a section attached to this center support on my LX that was making contact. It would not allow me to tuck it any further in without doing so.
Edit-
Also had to cut that lip on each side to make it sit flush. Not sure if this was required. See circled section on where I cut up...
Thinking about purchasing a new front bumper and I need to sell this one first. Still on my LX470 but I can remove it next week.

I have the Super Duty 1up and dont feel confident in its ability to hold the weight of am ebike (Giant Trance ePro) offroad. Added an additional support bar with quickfist to limit some of the sway. Hopefully I will get to test it out soon on some light trails.
I have a 2000 LX. Used the cool cruisers hitch made for a 40 series I believe. You will need to look at their specs but I only need it for a bike rack. Had to notch the bumper as well.
Plan to make a kydex bezel to clean it up.
Had moved my power steer in front of my airbox when I had AHC. Been putting it off for a year to move it to the slee mount. Woke up motivated this morning. 😉
New wheels installed. Slight plastic rubbing turning both driver and passenger. They do stick out more than stock. Still liking my choice!

I just disconnected the AHC under the dash above the gas pedal(2000 LX470). Its the metal box in the pic. Nothing else needed to unplug but this in my year. Removing the air duct will make it easy to unplug.
