Hey guys!!!
Unfortunately - you won't see any Tall Corn Cruisers shirts on Top Shot. I don't even think I have one... They were pretty strict about what we could and couldn't wear. I managed to sneak in a TTORA shirt, though.
ROOT FOR ME!!!
They didn't come from the factory on ANYTHING.
They were intended for the 1998 - 2004 Tacomas & 4Runners. They were an aftermarket option sold by TRD USA (just like the Supercharger or Cat-Back exhaust).
I've seen Dealerships put together their own "Special Edition" Ivan Stewart Edition...
I've had this problem too. My reverse gear sensor is bad, and it's a pretty expensive part for what it is - something like $300 bucks if I remember correctly. I'm thinking about just wiring up some aux. reverse lights to a switch in the cab, and just running a jumper to the stock reverse lights...

An ADD push-button 4WD setup can be done, but it's much more of a pain in the butt with all the vacuum and electrical connections...
The most difficult part of doing a Prerunner to 4WD conversion is finding all the right parts. Finding the correct parts that you need is much more of a pain than the actual wrenching. Once I had all my parts, I did the conversion BY MYSELF in 2 days, and I've never had a problem with my setup...
Yeah - I did need wheel spacers. Without them, the Sequoia wheels would hit the tie-rod a little bit. Only the front required spacers, but I picked up 4 from Marlin Crawler, and put them all the way around so it didn't look goofy.
Thanks a lot, man! That's exactly what I'm trying to do. ...Arm myself with some figures and quotes ahead of time so I can try anything in my power to keep it from being totalled.
I am in the Navy - I work in Coronado. The pics of the crunched doors were taken in Coronado. The nice picture...
Seriously?!?! You've got a set of Passenger doors you'd be willing to part with? It doesn't matter that they ain't white. It's gonna need some paint regardless. I will let the insurance company worry about that detail.
Will there be any issues fitting the power window/Lock components on pre-88...
