    Australian door cards

I did, or through drilled them straight to the inner door panel. Couldn't mount the speakers behind the panel without more metal work, which for simplicity sake, I wanted to avoid. (For the rears; speaker magnets barely cleared the OEM holes in factory sheet metal so hammered the lip ina...

    Aussie/JDM dual battery

For the piranha battery tray, how exact are the measurements for batteries that can fit? Am getting a wee bit tired of the OEM trays cracking and have been looking at the piranha tray but they are listed to fit a 300mm battery and no other dimensions. The problem is that my current batteries...

    Australian door cards

Almost 3 years later they are installed, well the front doors only for now. Drilled a hole for the speaker, drilled six holes for the top rollover arm rest/interior weather stripping holder. Will eventually remove them again for insulation layer and paint. (Replaced my old Pioneer 6.5" 3 way...

Continental Group 31 battery from a local Freightliner store, $108. Wet cell and I think a 12 month warranty.

Brembo 17z caliper 350mm rotors on my land cruiser axle

What mount were you referring too with the tundra disc and calipers? These go over the hub vs bolted from behind like the stock rotors?

help me spend my money - 80 or gx

80, even with just tires is more capable offroad but obviously limited due to mileage. GX if mainly street driven, if doing lift and tires the IFS and weak rear axle will need to be upgraded and will still have CV boot problems.

Window Vents, Wind Deflectors, Vent Visors, what ever you call them..........

Have the AVS on my truck, stick on and no issues. AVS 94016 Actually my second set, prior owners installed some but due to age and a kayak hitting and shattering one during loading operations they were replaced.

    Anna Nicole Smith is bleeding

Toyota engineered automatic chassis corrosion preventer. Toyota knew that past a certain mileage point that the undercarriage could use some help to increase the service life. I think my truck had 114k miles on it when I bought it and now at 330k miles that oil leak never got any worse.

    ABS/custom door panel

For the Australian door cards and not swap over the US top rollover top trim piece that holds the inner weather stripping I have these part numbers. I think most of these are NLA, also my research could be inaccurate since I haven't ordered or installed them. Aussie: Front (Right and Left) -...

    Winch Size

Hydraulic 12k winch, I have the Milemarker but others are around and some with faster linespeeds. 100% duty cycle, OEM power steering pump does an ok job but adding a larger cooler and more fluid volume to the system never hurts. (I would like to run a different pump in the OEM location and...

97 Distributor Oil Leak - internal seal replacement How To

Awesome, was looking into this a few years ago... Grabbed a aftermarket one off amazon and am surprised every time the truck starts but so far so good. I still keep the OEM internally leaking one in the truck if the Amazon unit craps out.

Had a similar problem with a '86 22RE, ended up being a bad AFM.

    Trans cooler hard line (discontinued?)

If not wanting to stay Toyota, any Hydraulic shop would be able to get you fixed do up.

    Transfer case seepage / leak?

You also have seals that are inside the shaft of the sensor, pita but can be done if the external O-ring didn't fix the leak.

Clunking noise when going over potholes

All control links are tight, shock mounting bolts, shock reservoirs, sway bar end links, sway bar bushings intact? I have a clunk on mine but it's due to worn out rear bumper swingout bushings.

    bxbuilt headlights on LX450

They do look good... (pics after installing the conversion) Light designs are also infinite thanks to the Jeepers and Harley crowd. These LED'S have plastic lenses are are close to being trashed now, have a pair of H1 glass lense housings waiting to go in.

80 Series charging travel trailer AGM batteries

Couldn't get the AutoZone AGM batteries to last longer than a year in a VW TDI, 6 months were typical and always lost a cell or two. My Sears Platinum AGM's are getting weak and are over 10yrs old in my FJ80, more than likely will replace them with a pair of flooded batteries when they stop...

    Gas Tank Pressure

Ditto on crappy fuel nozzle, I usually have to hold it at a certain gas station so it doesn't click off. I also refuse to fill up my Harley at the same gas station as it is a pita. Fuel tank Pressurization:. Refueled my truck and it sat for a few days and then had gas overflowing from the fuel...
