1996 FZJ80 The lock on the 3 pin, female, alternator connector is broken and needs replacing. The local Toyota dealership can't find the part number to order it. I've looked in numerous places with no luck. Any help with the part number will be appreciated.
I'm in the process of replacing all of the Combination Meter bulbs and the below link was very helpful.

I'm using incandescent bulbs and the common numbers are 194's (gauges), 74's (warnings) and...
I went to my local Toyota parts dealer yesterday and inquired about replacement connectors for the MAF, TPS and Alternator (i have broken locking tabs and more). He looked for them on his computer and told me I need to give him the number casted into the connector body. Is that fact or...
I took the Combination Meter out and replaced all of the bulbs except the gear indicator bulbs (the D bulb is out). I want to fix more than I break, so I didn't attempt to open up the back of the meter housing. How exactly do you do that, and are the bulbs #74 mini wedge base bulbs?
Well, I've installed the Seiken brake booster and it almost cured the spongy/soft brake issue. The pedal will pump up hard now and the brakes work well, however, I guess I'm expecting aggressive and strong braking and I'm not getting that. I'll say my brake issue is 90% improved. In the past...
I just experienced the exact same thing two weeks ago, same bolt head just snapped off. It took me three days of praying and talking ugly to finally get it out. Luckily the bolt didn't break off. I used PB Blaster for three days, shocking it with hammer tapping, and clamping vise grips on it...
I've got the Combination Meter out and want to replace the bulbs, but can't find a diagram that shows what size bulb goes where. I'm not installing LEDs and the only numbers I can find is 194 and 74. I have the FSM and it was no help (surprisingly) and the online Toyota parts listing gives a...
The OEM booster did fail like you described, hard to push and failed start up test. This one (aftermarket) passes the start up test, but fails to achieve a hard pedal when pumped up and sinks when strong pressure constantly applied.
The pedal can be pumped up hard after two or three pumps with the engine off. Indicating a good master cylinder and calipers, with no leaks, but once the engine is running the pedal never feels hard and with constant strong pressure applied, the pedal starts to sink a lot. I thought for sure...
I have replaced mine three times trying to fix a soft brake problem, and I'm getting ready to do it again. I'm installing the Seiken booster from Cruiser Yard. All I can say is, "it'll make you talk ugly and have destructive thought." I didn't have to remove or disconnect anything else to get...
I'm still trying to solve an old problem, soft brakes. I have replaced every item in the brake system and haven't solved the problem. I still believe it's the brake booster and installed two rebuilt Bendix booster from O'reily's. I have been looking at the new not rebuilt Seiken booster for...
Okay, another update. I had a friend help be bleed the entire brake system after installing a new rebuilt booster and master cylinder. I still have the exact same problem and have changed every part in the system, some twice.
QUESTION: The ABS system is not working. The light is out on the...
Okay, team, I'm going to attempt to bleed the entire brake system ONE MORE TIME. If that doesn't fix it I'll put a Toyota master cylinder in it. Thanks for all the recommendations. I'll post the outcome.
