Final Step—-60 is going to paint!

Looks great! If you don’t mind me asking, what did the body work and paint end up costing?

    FJ62 Replacement LED Headlights

I did the whole h4 upgraded harness, housing and bulbs and it is night and day difference from the old school sealed lights. There used to be a guy on mud who made these super nice harnesses but it’s probably been 8 years since I installed it. I threw some higher rated bulbs in the brights too...

'89 FJ62 power windows dead (except for the driver's window)

Is the window lock on? Have you tried using the switches on the door of the actual window? I can't always control my other windows with the master switch panel but can on the individual doors. Also check to see if a switch is stuck in an up or down position

Removing the Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV) on a 62

I just removed mine last weekend. It only takes about 10 minutes to pull the extra line. It looks like he was in a rush. I cut the lines back so the splice was in line with the frame. Also I mounted the manual proportioning valve to the firewall to avoid excess stress/wear

Sway Bars ( yes or no )

I would also be interested in both an soa setup and mild lift sway bar setup. I ran without sway bars for a couple years then put my front back on and am considering putting my rear sway bar on again. I'd want something that obviously improves on road performance but still performance offroad...

What did you do with your 60 this weekend?

    Water in rear wells?

I had this happen to me but only because I drove through a lake. There should be a rubber stopper at the bottom of the quarter panel you can pull and drain

    What goes here?

Well I bought a new project I plan on slowly restoring. Below the master and slave cylinder there is a round clamp with nothing inside of it. What belongs here? Thank!

    Returning to cruiser life

Its been about 2.5 years since I really drove the cruiser. Its been sitting in the shop waiting. Since I parked the truck I bought a house, got married, got a new job, had a 2012 Subaru Impreza, and a 2001 trd tacoma. The cruiser needed some love. I replaced u-joints, wheel studs, new front...
