Interested in both!
I am down in Cape Girardeau, but would love to know more about both. Mostly price and overall driveability. Any info would be great.
Depending on speed and quantity of interest I am considering parting out my 69 FJ40. The electrical system fried on it, so be wary of anything electrical from it. Head was recently replaced, barely broken in. Other than that it is mostly complete but well worn. Let me know what you are...

I did too, but there is a guy here in town that has a '67 that has the filler on the driver side rear below the tail lights. There is not a filler on the passenger side at all. At first i figured that he had an auxillary tank, but i was wrong.
Thanks guys
Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it. It is rare to deal with so many people that are not condescending to others when it comes to sharing their knowledge.
Search

Pass
I live in an area that is pretty Cruiser deficient area, and I would not give this one a second thought. Unless you want to get into an ongoing project, shop around and find something better, even if you have to spend some cash picking it up, or having it delivered....
looking ahead

the amount of surface rust on my flywheel is rather surprising. The timing mark is still barely visible, been trying to find some way to remark it, but no luck so far...
I just saw that issue at work today and also managed to kill about a half hour on the clock. Nothing better than getting paid to read about such a great cruiser! Incredible truck, great job.....
I have the same problem on the 96 grand cherokee. It is accompanied by the check engine light that seems to have a mind of it's own. I have had the damn thing on the diagnostic about 8 times in the last 2 years and have gone through 3 batteries. What i have found is that Jeeps are pieces and...
Naval Jelly
I am going through the same mess, from top to bottom. Been having pretty good luck with a die grinder with wire brush and then putting on a couple of coats of naval jelly to finish it off. Been wondering if anyone had any other suggestions other than naval jelly, it is getting...
