    Gas tank location

    He has them mounted up higher, halfway between bottom and top of tub. the filler is in the lower third of the tub by the rear door.

    I did too, but there is a guy here in town that has a '67 that has the filler on the driver side rear below the tail lights. There is not a filler on the passenger side at all. At first i figured that he had an auxillary tank, but i was wrong.

    Search Why yes i did use the search feature. There was little feedback from those who have made the conversion, mostly it was the use of propane to pinpoint vacuum leaks. Thanks for your welcome....

    Pass I live in an area that is pretty Cruiser deficient area, and I would not give this one a second thought. Unless you want to get into an ongoing project, shop around and find something better, even if you have to spend some cash picking it up, or having it delivered....

    I have had pretty good luck with cutting a slot in the bolt and then using a big ass socket flat head. Works real well if you have an impact driver.
