What is everyone doing for low range selector extensions? Are you guys fabbing your own or purchasing them somewhere?

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Rebush it! No need to replace the LCA. You don't need a press to get it out (if you have one, it certainly makes it easier, but not necessary). You can simply drill through the rubber around the center metal sleeve, then use a vise or C clamps to push that out. Then carefully cut the metal...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Replaced my steering rack today. Was long overdue. Original lasted 215k. Honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Followed the instructions from @PabloCruise on the rack replacement thread, huge help, thanks man!

    100’s without roof racks

Mine from a few years back at HIH. I've been running a rack the last few years, but just recently took it off again. Really love the naked roof look.

My buddy and I removed the worn out suspension setup I've been running for almost 8 years now, which consisted of Ironman FCP shocks, the old version poly Nitrogear UCAs, OME tbars and Slee heavies with a 1" puck and gave the old girl a bit of an upgrade! New setup: Nitrogear UCAs, stage 2 Icon...

    Roof sticker strip things?

Thanks man, those were exactly what I was referring to. Given @e9999's reply about not being on his 03, I bet you're right about those being port installed. Seeing those photos, I think I'll steer clear and run it without, even though rust isn't much of an issue where I'm at. Really appreciate...

    Roof sticker strip things?

To those of you smarter than me (most), I need help with a part number or replacement option please. The roof sticker strip things that were originally stuck to my roof were cracked and sun rotten, so I removed them when I put the rack on. This summer I'm going to be removing my roof rack and...

The MUD 100 series Videos thread

Made this about a month ago and never posted it. Figured I would, a few of you may enjoy it. My buddy and I ran Lockhart Basin and the end section was a bit rough getting up. The 4runner got stuck and we had to spend an hour stacking and winching. Hope you enjoy!

Just got back from a seven day, 1,000 mile road trip through SW Colorado to see the aspens before the snow starts falling. Hit Crested Butte, Black Canyon, Ouray, Silverton, Durango and Pagosa Springs. We unexpectedly ran Devil's Punch Bowl back by Schofield Pass, after running into a friend...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

I added a Wits-End ARB pacifier, which sure beats the heck out of the old duct tape strip I used to keep the dirt out.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

I replaced my motor and trans mounts yesterday. I think my motor mounts were long past due... the driver's side was completely separated upon removal! The passenger side and the trans mounts were compressed by a mil or two and were showing signs of separations. This seems to have reduced a...

Catch can - results after 1,000 miles

There is a passenger side crankcase vent that comes from the valve cover and goes directly to the OE air box assembly. It doesn't use a PCV valve though. Wouldn't you want to tie that into the catch can too?

Cargo Area Aftermarket Sound Deadener (Kilmat, Noico, Dynamat, etc)

I did my cargo area a few years ago and have zero regrets, in fact I was amazed at how much road noise it eliminated. I would at a minimum do the wheel arches to get rid of the wind and road noise from the tires. I have another box of deadener in my garage and I've been meaning to do the front...
