This one is the LC, just the strut spacers, no lift.
On the LX you shouldn’t have a problem with some plastic molding and a AHC lift if you’re inclined. You’ll probably need to remove the front mud flaps.
installed the Kendas. 35x10.5x17 with Alphaequipt command wheels in the +15 offset. I added the front oem strut spacers while at it. Lots of trimming by the installers but may have been more impatience than heat gun and molding. Currently got a rub on the pinch weld when turning left and...
In my case it was more of “knowing your audience.” The comment came from a fiscally conservative CFO that drove a 15 year, beat up Honda Accord. Such is corporate life.
I think the trucks are so well built and their styling holds up that it’s startling when we let people know our vehicle is 10...
Yeah, I think that’s the problem. I basically had to explain that the LX was a re-badged Toyota and that “luxury” vehicle was a steal when I bought it at 5 years old.
I have the ongoing dilemma between value of the LX and LC. Both of ours have been LX’s and couldn’t have been happier. However, I did get some side comments about “driving a Lexus” from my superiors during a push for a pay raise which made me really re-think the perception of the two brands and...
I’m in the market for another LC as well, and I think it’s a combination of the following:
-increased interest due to overlanding,
-Increased interest/perceived scarcity due to the 200-series exit and no 300-series LC in sight,
-all compounded by low sales volume and the acknowledgment that the...
36 psi! So Discount Tire was doing something right...although they’re hovering around 32lbs with the temps in CO so I may bump them up a few psi during the winter! Thanks!
I understand that by including torques in the FSM it may lead someone to believe that it is supposed to be taken apart, but I know I'm not the first to do it and the toyota dealership quickly knew what I was referring to and didnt have the number either.
Thanks for the quick responses fellas...
So I started working on my front brakes this morning, and I inadvertently unscrewed the bolts holding the caliper together. Note: this is not the bolt that bolts the caliper to the truck (90ft lbs). This is the torque for the actual caliper assembly that is held together by two bolts.
Does...
I recently bought a 2011 LX570 whose seats were less than clean, even after the dealer's 'once-over'. I too have been looking relentlessly for the best product to use, and everywhere I've read it comes down to this:
'Premium' cleaners: Leatherique or Leathermaster
'Off the shelf' cleaners...

Not at all. I ended up letting it part for $19,500. The buyer and I came to an agreement that I would not do the brakes. Since the parts were a sunk-cost in my mind for the average buyer, I consider it a sale at $20,000 before TT&L.
I had some forum buyers interested out of state, but the buyer...
