It's funny I saw the thumbnail pic and thought "that looks like Charles' truck" and turns out I wasn't wrong!
I don't remember if he has the 60 or his 55 the last time I saw him around 2009 or so.
Good luck with the sale!
Dan
FWIW, I'm selling this 60 now. Time for someone else to enjoy it. iH8MUD classified ad
Need to make room for a *very special* 40, and soon enough I'll finish the other 60 anyway. Plus, I've got to slowly sell or move a TON of stuff from NM to CO.

So.... if someone wanted to also replace the PS belt with new..... My quick parts perusal tells me that's not an option (73210-60270-B0) unless I want to put in a drivers side belt, and deal with the shorter length. True?
Yes, I could get them rebuilt, but that's just not my steez, unless I...
Autozone used to sell a Duralast branded gear wrench set of two quad boxes.
8-10mm, 12-13mm on one, and 14-17mm, 18-19mm on the other.
I bought at least three sets of them. If I ever see them again, I'll buy more. The 18 is the only one I don't ever find a use for on a cruiser. The 13mm is...
So true.
I have a Honduran HJ45. It has absolutely perfect aprons on it. Absolutely perfect aprons underneath a solid 1/4" of bondo.
I also have a very nice fillet from the fender down to the running board. Those guys do *amazing* things with bondo.

Start by measuring how out of flat it is. If it's not 1/16" or so, you can take a piece of glass, with a large piece of sandpaper and true it up yourself.
As to the rest, I'd replace the water pump as cheap insurance, because they definitely can leak even if you don't measure excessive play...
Can confirm. It's pretty impressive. And I just drove it around the parking lot at CM! But the jump from gas to diesel engine (I've got a lot of experience with that) is about the same as the jump from diesel to EV IMHO.
It's so cool. I can't wait to see what you do next!

Hah!
I’m in Sandia Park this week tinkering on cruisers. Took a break from house building to come down and play in the shop.
I’ll be at CM this year though!
Someday I’ll finish this house and I’ll get more time to come down a lot more.

1). Holà HDC crew!
2). Anyone happen to have a set of 60 series rear springs they’d like to get rid of? I have a 60 at mom and Dad’s that I need to pull the suspension off of one of these days, and I’d rather not leave it immobile. Maybe even make that truck driveable again someday.

Not ENTIRELY true my friend. You could get one from my garage right now. :flipoff2:
Just a little bonus from like 8 years of spending all my time building a house instead of working on diesel cruisers.
