side mirror courtesy light (1 Viewer)

i have been searcging everywhere but cannot find how to replace the bulb in side mirror courtesy light, i only found a fj cruiser video where he pulled out the mirror glass part out it was connected with tabs on the back dont know how it is different in land cruiser and lx 570
any help will be appreciated.

Although I have not done this, I can take a look at mine to see if I can find a way to do this. I know that on my 100 series, the back of the mirror assembly was able to pop off to access the internals. Not sure if this one is the same or not.

The bulb is behind the mirror and is a 194 bulb. The mirror comes off the same way as the 100 series. Be gentle when prying so you don't break the glass. Check the tsb on the link below for instructions on how to remove the glass.

Awesome, it worked. The mirror just pulls out and bulb is right behind it. Thanks for quick reply.

You push the glass piece on one side, it will sound clicking and grinding while you are forcing it to corner. Then grab it from behind and pull out towards you. It will pop out. Then you will be able to see the bulb wires, just twist and it will come out. Super easy.
