Does anyone know where to source factory harness plugs? I have a 2UZ that I'm transplanting out of an 04 UZJ100 and 2 of the plugs are damaged that go into the ECM. The dealer here (New Zealand) isn't having any luck and I haven't been able to find a petrol model at the wreckers. If anyone knows where to find some or even some second hand plugs I would be thrilled.

Can you read the part numbers off the damaged plugs?

Nope. This is a transplant and the d#*^ wreckers did a number on the harness. I can build/modify everything else they butchered but I really don't want to have to solder 2 new plugs into the ECM. I've attached some images if anyone has any ideas.

Awesome, thanks for that. Yeah the part #'s are a bit tricky. This is an Australian spec model and out this way the years don't quite line up. Mine has the a750f trans in it and that seemed to be a bit split between 2004 - 2005 model years, we have both versions.

Thanks Parnoren, scored a set of plugs from ebay. I didn't realize that different ECM plugs would fit.

Thanks RobRed. The part numbers are not the issue, it's the dealers in NZ having zero interest in ordering parts like that. Only option they would offer is a factory new harness. It's sorted at this stage so now we play the waiting game for parts to arrive and then back to the soldering iron.

RobRed. Little story about the lovely dealer service here. I picked up a 2UZ-FE with A750F trans and t-case to swap into a 40 series. Didn't come with the immobilizer controller or amplifier so I needed to order those parts and have them programmed. Seems like an easy request that a dealer would be able to handle. Nope. According to them I must order a PCM and Immobilizer that are factory matched for the grand total of about $2,000. I'm originally from the US and an ASE Advanced Level Specialist so you can probably imagine my surprise when they quoted me that. Long story short I sent my pcm to the US and ordered a new immob and amp and had it programmed there, grand total..... $500. Toyota's dealer service in the US is outstanding but when you're on a little island in the South Pacific the story is a bit different. Regardless, at this stage I've got a second hand full set of plugs plus loom on its way here from the US for a grand total of $40 so pretty happy with the ebay reference above.
