Lots of prep usually nets a good job.

I pushed through, stayed late and just finished painting the long block. Now it can cure all night. 😆

There is usually two rules with customers for me doing a build thread on their Cruiser. #1 they remain anonymous and #2 no money discussed. Seems to me people should easily be able to respect a request like that. I didn’t clarify that when I started the thread, thems the rules though for almost all my build threads.

I already discussed price with Ben in pm, however I can beat that price.

Please enjoy the build thread and if you have questions on cost, contact me by email, pm or phone call.

Cheers

So there it is, lifted. We netted about 3” but it is going to settle for sure. It rides way way better.

So I wanted to do some short acceleration videos before and after the swap.

Here is before!

For anyone who has never seen these up close, by far the heaviest leaf pack Toyota ever put in a Cruiser!

They weigh over 100lbs each! Stiff as a brick. Rated for over a ton easy, I call them the “camel leaf pack”, thing is you would have to cram three camels in the DC bed to begin to get these flexing! I get putting these under the reg cab long bed 79’s but you will never be able to put 1+ton in the DC’s tiny bed! 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Hello,

Now that is overbuilt.

Guaranteed to punish your back unless you have 200 pounds or more in the back...
