I would say you are a perfect candidate for the Zuk mod. Cheap, quick and easy. I added a couple of factory leafs from the wreckers yard to mine, works great but was a lot more work than the zuk mod.

My truck has a twin! In the 4 years I have never seen the same colour (Canadian spelling) combination as mine.

What condition is the gas in? has it been sitting long since the old engine died? Bad gas will cause it to run like crap, could be moisture in the tank too, might want to try putting some gas line antifreeze in ( if it is available in your area) to take care of any moisture.

:doh: You are right, I checked my truck and it is mounted to the frame. I forgot that at the time I did the body lift I also increased the spring lift by 2" and that is why I had to make the bracket to mount it higher.

You said it has a 2" body lift. You need to adjust the rear brake height adjuster (sorry I don't know the technical name for the part) to compensate for the lift. It has a bar that connects to the body and pivots according to ride height. Theory is that as your back end sits lower with more...

Has your truck been lifted? has the ride height adjuster at the back been adjusted? I would adjust the rear brakes before replacing anything.
