Thanks for the advise. I will check it out. the ports on the ac lines are threaded. so I guess that means it is r12. can I convert it or does it need to go to a shop??

thank you for the responses and link. the dash brake light is not on. the cruise control worked for about a week but the speedometer has never worked the cable is broke. are the two problems connected??

the ac has not worked since I have owned the cruiser. I have owned it for about a year and a half. I don't believe the ac has been converted to r132 from the r12. does that matter?? how do I test the pressure??

my cruise control doesn't work. the light comes on but the cruise will not engage. does anyone have the tests for the actuator and the switch so I may find out which was is bad?? Thanks

well its getting to be summer time and the wife and kids are soon to be driving around in the green house of my FJ80. I have power at both sides of the 10 amp fuse by the driver knee but no power to the AC switch. I tried to use a volt meter across all 5 pins in the AC plug but got nothing...

94 ex cab. 3.go 5 speed with 7mge AFM, egr delete, 7mge coil. 33 inch bf Goodrich all terrains. 12 inch bed bob and 2 inch fender trim.

This weekend was busy for the 80. I did an egr delete, cleaned all the sunroof drains, replaced the fusible links and the starter cable. This has never started or run so well!

Thank you for the tip!! I changed my canister over the weekend and it works great! no more whooshing sounds when I fill up with gas!. and it reduced my hard starting!! Thanks a bunch!!
