Slowly fixing a 1969 FJ40. Trying to find the correct steering wheel. VIN says MAY 1969,but steering shaft spline is to thick i.e. larger diameter than the steering wheel. Do I need a later style wheel? Any help appreciated.

I have removed the right rear leaf spring (almost). The rear bracket is off, u-bolts off. leaf just hanging from the front. The small bolts on outside are removed and the large nut on the inside is off, but the bolt will not come out, won't even budge with a hammer. Am I missing something or...

Bought used leaf springs as my right rear is broken. Any tips on telling the front from the rear? Any tips on making the switch easier and if I should change the shocks at the same time? Any advice appreciated, thank you in advance. 1969 FJ40 New to me.
