It may be more expensive than what you are looking to spend but you could check out the Comeup DV-12S Lite https://comeupusa.shop/products/dv-12s-light-12v-winch

If you decide to go with a Comeup I would recommend the Seal Slim 9.5 or 12.5. You will need the spacer kit ARB sells or if you are handy, you could make them yourself. The 12.5 gets real tight in between the frame rails but it's doable. Since you are in the Sacramento area I would check in with...

It's not for everyone, that's for sure. Snow wheeling season is my favorite time of year though.

We had our annual snow wheeling/camping trip this past weekend. Snow was decent, trails were slick, had to winch a bit ;) Had a great time, and no cv's were harmed.

Nothing big here, but I did install a Midland MXT400 and an GMRS antenna from Alamosa Antenna. I have to say I was really impressed with the quality of the antenna and the spring base. It's super beefy.
