I thought this same thing ^^^^ It would add a considerable cost, I imagine, but fabricate a drop in box/shell with a channel for the torsion bar. Also, add an option to split the lid into two, creating separate drawers.

RMS power ratings for his amp are 210 x 4 and 420 x 1. So in reality, 1260W bridged into 2 ohms. I have owned PlanetAudio amps in the past, I was really impressed with their output. FWIW, It has 3 25amp fuses.

Guaranteed rotted out sub woofer. Mine was just as bad as the OP’s. Just disconnect it. I removed mine and the bracket. Also, I took note of the color scheme of the remote wire to the amp for future reference when I install my Zapco amps.

Be prepared to cut your rear doors. I put Rockford Fosgate 6.5" T165 speakers in and had to sawsall the indented portion of the sheet metal around the existing mounting holes. Magnets on the 6x9s you purchased, I imagine, can only be bigger. Killed me to cut the 80, but I forgot all about it...

Subscribed, very interested in this mod. Curious to hear the results of the second MAF installed dyno test. With all the positive comments in the past, maybe something is amiss with Scottryana's set up. Also, why did the dyno shop recommend immediate removal?

Got mine. Just like the last few posts, easy to install, needed a flashlight, almost knocked over my beer... Almost. Got it to idle just over 2k, no use for it now, but future plans and the neat-o look-what-I-have factor made me buy it. This didn't count as a project/job because I didn't bleed...
