Has anyone had them powder coated? I know this is a more extreme measure, but it will outlast pretty much anything out there.

Alright, sounds like all good advice and I will be taking all of it and trying to break them loose tonight. I will also look at the new allen head replacements with some anti seize so in the future this is not a problem. Thanks for all the quick responses.

I have tried that, and am afraid of possibly breaking the transfer case itself, because when I pull down on it the entire truck moves with the force. I will try again with the tightening first and then breaking it loose. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for all the good information. It looks to be the original white, hard top with ambulance doors. According to the vin on SOR it looks like it was manufactured in Oct. of 76, does that still make it a 77? Any original pics of the engine compartment would be greatly appreciated sggoat
