most of the vehicles I have done the offset bearings in have been 75 series really need to see the wheel alignment figures. you can adjust the steering wheel position with the drag link.
Post wheel alignment figures, is this a LHD or RHD vehicle? I thought you could only adjust toe on these, to do camber and castor you need to put offset bearing kit in to the swivel hubs.
Had similar issue with mine after I bought it, with cracked head in all 4 chambers, no issue around town and no sign of water in the oil, but was coming out the over flow when I drove it on the highway. It was explained to me that the compression will pressurise the cooling system which causes...
No problem Rosco, understood.
My point is the excuse in the link from gkanai to "Eaton Detroit" Springs is rubbish. Their should be a coating between the leaves. Why is aftermarket not made to the same standard or higher as the OE most sell their product as an upgrade? Definately if you are...
Most vehicle manufacturers use JIT (Just In Time) manufacturing which means they receive the parts just before they are needed. So not sitting in a warehouse for long.
You also don't see the OE rusting 12 months after you purchased the vehicle either.
Toyota are not perfect, seems to me all vehicle manufacturers are having issues with technology they are introducing into there vehicles. Be mind full of what you are buying if you want to modify in the future, to do more than it was designed for.
Don't always blame the shop it could be just a...
V8 7x series different track width front to rear how does that play in to the rut argument?
And the width, seeing as the largest sector of 7x users is the mining sector this wouldn't be an issue for a majority of the market.
I'd take a HDJ over a VDJ any day.
