Pete (cook) and I ran up to Mt Graham 12/22-23. We wanted to get into the snow and I wanted to see Mt Graham.
On our way up we stopped to check out the creek that runs parallel to the 60 after the tunnel E. of Superior. Water was running so we stopped and climbed on the rocks a bit.
Mt Graham is amazing as ever. I want to go back and hike a few trails, spend a few nights, and build a snowman. Kids had a great time throwing snowballs playing in the snow. We spent the night in Safford and returned Sunday. Lost of driving for a short trip but I had to be back early.
We plan on spending some time in that area soon and will post up some ideas.
