My buddy was inquiring about a rear bumper for our 80's. the first time we spoke to him ken stated they had a 16 week delivery.. today we got a very short email stating...

"the rear bumpers are sold out indefinitely."

WTF?? :flipoff2:

Ken got married earlier this year and also bought a house with some surrounding property. Last I spoke to him he was planning to focus on fixing up the house and build a shop at the new property. Hanna Quality is the back burner.

So...if I want a pair of sliders I should look elsewhere? I have called and emailed without a response. :frown:

MetalTech
Slee
BumpIt

:D Lots of very good choices.

Thanks guys. Seen most of those really like the Hanna. Guess I need to settle for what is available.

yep, found out today. With Ken getting married, baby on the way and the new house. It doesnt look like there will be any available anytime soon.

Not to rub it in but the one I ordered 18 months ago finally arrived. Had it installed today. Dual swingouts, 3 can carrier and LED lights. Its a beast.

Man that Sucks! I've been trying to get ahold of him for two weeks. If he's not producing anymore it would be nice just to let people know that up front rather than trying to track him down to find out when they will be in stock.

I've tried a couple times too with no luck. Sucks because his bumper offers everything I'm looking for, excellent side protection, dual swingouts, and most importantly it holds three Jerry cans. I'd buy the Slee tomorrow but it is a no go because I have to have a bumper capable of carrying extra Jerry cans. With gear and a RTT, there is not much room left to carry extra fuel. I love the 4x4 labs bumper, but I'm hesitant to cut the frame as I plan on fitting a aux fule tank at some point and I worry about fitment with the shortened frame. I'm starting to lean towards the IPOR, just wish there were more pics out of the different angles.

Yea the jerry cans were my deal to it was the best of both worlds. hopefully things settle down for him and he gets back to it

Have you searched on here? I've posted some pics as well as a couple other guys who have the newer IPOR bumper with 4x4Labs accessories. Plus Lance and the guys can add rear quarter protection if that's what you're looking for. I'd give them a call.

I just helped a local guy install his Hanna with all the goodies - I was stunned at how nice of a bumper it was in every facet.

I took 100 digital pics of it & I'll be building mine as close to what I have on a memory stick as I can.

On the upside, I spoke to Ken yesterday & he's shopping out his design - so maybe someone will buy it (maybe) & put these into a real production situation.

The guy I helped had his on order with Ken over a year, no exaggeration.

It's my limited understanding that the vast majority of the bumper/slider "manufacturers" we see on these boards are all out of someones backyard/hobby shop.
That is not implying anything bad, just the reality that life can easily interrupt.

I really wanted a set of his sliders and a bumper.
I need the capability to carry the jerry cans on the back.
Poop........

Try bumpitoffroad. I just got mine installed last week and I love it. I have the tire carrier & 2 jerry can holder. Mike will work with you in customizing the design of your bumper. Price is very reasonable as well.

No reason most of the guys couldn't make a 3 can rack. I think most people are happy with just 2. Try calling any of the vendors mentioned. Shouldn't be that hard.

Mike at bumpitoffroad is great to deal with like Haring Bagsik said. He does great work!
