Dual filler neck for Aux Tank

I got mine from MAF. It came with the aux tank and was probably bulk of the cost!

Now is that the new filler (i.e. supposed 100 series) neck like CDan has or the older one that everyone thought was the only 80 neck until recently?

That number is for the correct 80 series dual filler neck. The ones we get used from Australia have all been the 100 neck, that is the kit I sent to Dan. I actually went digging in my wherehouse and found 2 brand new 77730-60011 correct dual fillers necks. It is only the bottom half and does not come with the rod to switch tanks. Steve.

I think that is not exactly right Steve. Based on the way mine fit and the photos that David (OZCAL) took of his, I think you/we are getting a later model 80 neck. I further understand that the 100/105 necks do not have a flipper-valve-thingy in them. They are a split tube that you stick the nozzle in one way or the other depending on which tank you want to fill.

By the way, the numbers you posted do not come up on the US master file.

Yeah my mistake, the 100 series auxillary tank neck does have the split neck where you angle the gas nozzle to direct the flow of fuel. I am not sure of the neck I sent you, 105 or late 80.... As for the parts that did not come up in the us master file, I have them at my desk, and the twin fill neck is the highly sought after 80 version. I will try to get a picture tonight if I have time.

Steve sent this photo to me and asked me to post it. This is a New lower for the early 80 dual neck.

Are the "Long Range" tanks that MAF sell the ARB Long Ranger ones?

If I was to do a diesel swap down the road, would I have to get a different tank?

Thanks

No, we sell the long range automotive tanks. I am not 100% sure of the difference, I havent taken the time to look into it to be honest. When you do the diesel conversion you do not need a new tank, just drain and let your old tank air out for a while. Steve.
