I got an email from Mike at Bump it Offroad (BIO) yesterday, as he is going to start building my bumper and sliders later this week
.
I wanted to start a new thread detailing the install with some pics, as well as my impressions of my new gear.
Why I decided to go with BIO bumper and sliders:
I have liked what i've seen so far from others on Mud and their experiences with BIO.
I like the design and apparent quality of construction of the bumper, good approach angle, beefy recovery points, etc.
The sliders have the bump-out at the rear, which I think adds some extra security to rear quarter panel protection.
The outboard tubing of the sliders are larger diameter than most others (at 1 3/4").
I have added a few things to the bumper, such as a CB antenna mount, driving light mounts, integrated fog lights, and mounts for tree branch guide wires. Mike has been great to work with in helping to design personalized details, and customer service has been great so far.
I should receive the goods before Christmas, and will post up some pics and install details as the project progresses.
