This is an awesome FJ60. Very strong, very durable. Looks great but is not a trailer queen. Biggest things that need attention at some point:

Fuel spider needs replacing. A couple of the poppets stick alternately open or closed causing a rich or lean condition depending on when they stick. Sometimes it won't do it for a week, other times it'll do it everyday for a while. I just haven't had the time to replace the spider with the new, non-poppet style.
Front axle has developed a vibration when 4 is engaged. Haven't looked into this yet. I do have a good complete axle that can be included to use for parts if necessary.
Winch is currently not wired up. Was in the process of mounting a second battery but not completed.
There are a few tiny bubbles on the rear roof that need attention before it spreads. I think there was a little bit of repair done above the passenger door prior to my ownership.

Please ask questions and I'll try to address anything you need to know. SOLD . Clear title, in my name, current tags.

• How many miles on the motor?
• A/C connected and work?
• Does it have the extended range gas tank mentioned in your thread?
• Stock gears?
• Was the front axle cut-n-turn?
• Is the front driveshaft connected?

Sent you PM

Not sure on the motor mileage, the previous owner did the original install. It is very strong and doesn't use any oil.
A/C is connected and blows cold.
Stock gas tank. I had intended to complete the long range tank install but never got around to it.
Stock gears.
Front axle was cut-n-turned.
Front DS is connected. Both D/S were rebuilt last year when I had a rear U-joint go bad.

wow.... cant believe you selling it...

Good luck with the sale..... !!

Nice ride !!!

I just had a dream that I was driving this rig and parking it in my garage. A dream, only a dream.....:frown:

wow, did'nt see that one coming.....

good luck with the sale, that's a great price for a very well put together cruiser.

Want a 73 FJ40 for trade?
can't blame a guy for asking, can you?

If you had this for sale in 2010, I would have bought it instead of my FJ Cruiser. Don't get me wrong, love my FJ as my DD and Expo rig, but damn, your 60 is set up perfectly.

Bump for you.

I missed it, is it CA smogable?
