We will have our annual charity auction at our December meeting, which is Thursday Dec. 12th, 7:00 at Pappa's BBQ in Dallas.

For years the club has had a charity auction and the proceeds go to a charity or an individual in need. The club tries to match the money raised with some of it's funds. Our friends at Toyota Trail Riders also participates in our auction. So please try and make the event.

We need donations of items to be auctioned so please bring anything of value, can be parts, tools or non Cruiser related items. Also remember to bring some cash to bid on the items in the auction.

Reminder, The meeting and charity auction is THIS Thursday. Please bring some donated items and cash to spend. We alway have good stuff at this auction.

This year's recipient is being kept under wraps until after the auction. They are close to the Cruiser community and we want it to be a surprise.

I will be there.

Tonight is the night. Bring some donation items and bring some cash. Thanks and see you there.

I'm not a club member...yet, but I'm hoping to make it tonight!

Last night's charity auction was a success. We raised $1700 and Lone Star Land Cruisers and Toyota Trail Riders both matched that amount with donations. We will be sending a check for $5100 to a great organization that has ties to the Cruiser community.

Mission on Wheels, run my Mike Costello is this year's recipient. To learn more about what they do visit the website and follow them on facebook.

WOW! I didn't see that coming!

Thank you all so much! I'm still searching for the right words to express my gratitude (not quite the word-smith that Kowboy is) but humbled, honored and appreciative top the list.

For a couple months we've been seeking funding to build four heavy duty, portable sinks to travel with our wheelchair accessible shower trailer. Commercially produced units cost around 2 grand each, are not made for outdoor use, aren't very sturdy and require constant dumping and refilling of water. We found we can build our sinks with1" square 6061 welded aluminum frames, HDPE skins, point of use water heaters and supply and lines (no buckets or pumps to mess with) for about $700.00 each. We will also be able to make a few more repairs to our truck and add some air bags to help with the heavy loads.

To those who recommended us and supported the auction and to both clubs, Thank you all so, so much!

I would really like to list the sponsors for the both the truck and the sinks. We're dedicated the hood of the truck for sponsors and the front door of the hand wash stations for club / company logos if you would like.
