Mark your calendars folks! GSMTR is back with an all new venue, new trails, same great people, spectacular vendors and huge raffle.

Guys this is a great park, I have been to a couple of Southern events there and the trails are great and the facilities are awsome. I am leaving for Alaska and the ACT 2010 on june 13, but I am still going to try to attend a day or two. Hope the rest of you will try to make it.

We're looking at bringing a group this year and will keep you posted as we finailize our schedule

This year's GSMTR is getting better and better! We have secured the southern sounds of Matt Stell and the Crashers for Saturday night! This is going to be a great show guys and gals!

Is there going to be a cruise up there?

It would be awesome if we could arrange to meet up somewhere with a couple of other states, go in a convoy up there and arrive in mass!!

Here's a teaser from the Round Up Friday night...Matt Stell and I (on Matt's ES 335) jammin' to some Jason Isbell tunes...Jason's producing their new album that's being recorded in Muscle Shoals soon.

Who knows, might be up for a repeat in June...

At Fame?

Had a fraternity brother's family that owned the studio when I was in school and got to see/hear some cool music years ago.

Muscle Shoals is an awesome place.

Can someone who has visited or wheeled the park set our expectations of what the place is like. Their website doesn't seem to be finished or offer any useful information on the park. Is there enough property to wheel a few days and a diverse arrangement of trails for stock to modified rigs? Can you tell us what the camping prices are? From the way I read it this event is not just a TLCA event but a run what you brung event? Sorry for the questions our group is looking at making the 12hr trip for the week.

The event will be closed to just GSMTR participants. Registration is $35 + $10/day to wheel/tent camp. Roger and a few have been there before because last years Dixie Run was held there. From what I understand there is something for everyone trail wise.

Other activities will include several types of friendly competition: timed rock crawling, tug of war, and some other surprises.

Also, we are thinking of offering a guided trip to Burgess Falls SP as an extra diversion. Drive to the park and hike a 3/4mile trail to 3 beautiful waterfalls.

Thanks for the help Rick. We already had one going so I just merged them together so we could keep it all in one place.
